Ramzan Ali Syed Hospital was initially established as the first fully equipped, state of the art, private Eye hospital in Pakistan in the early 1960. Due to president and unfading efforts, the hospital gained worldwide acknowledgment and catered not only for domestic but international eye patients. In 1988 Ramzan Ali Hospital was re-built as a modern General Hospital and later on in 2017 was refurbished and renovated into a state of the art comprehensive General Hospital.

OUR COMMITMENT

In 1988 Ramzan Ali Hospital was re-built as a modern General Hospital and later on in 2017 was refurbished and renovated into a state of the art comprehensive General Hospital.’

THE FOUNDER

Professor Dr. Ramzan Ali Syed was the first professor of Ophthalmology at the King Edward Medical College Lahore which now is a world renowned university. Professor Dr. Ramzan Ali Syed was the first one to demonstrate Disseminated Sclerosic in south East Asia. He was also the pioneer to perform a “Successful corneal graft/Transplant in the Subcontinent along with his Clinical revolutionary Surgical Techniques in the field of Ophthalmology. He yielded three World Shattering operative techniques in the field of Ophthalmology Surgery. The Founder president of the ophthalmic society of Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Ramzan Ali Syed represented Pakistan at various medical meetings abroad. He also started post Graduate Ophthalmic courses at The University of the Punjab.
